The College Board Digital Audio Capture (DAC) App will be in use for AP Testing on Chromebooks. This App must be launched from the login screen of your Chromebook.
Before attempting to launch the test-taking app, please make sure your device is FULLY CHARGED.
Instructions:
1. Before logging in, click the "Apps" icon at the bottom left of the login screen (Example below)
2. Click on the "DAC App" icon.
WARNING! When the Chromebook is in DAC mode the app cannot be exited until the recording is complete.
If the app is exited during a student's recording session before the files have been uploaded to the DAS portal, any recording made during that session will be lost.
